Birthing Your Dream

BIRTHING YOUR DREAM 18 June 2010

There are times when God places a desire or dream in your heart, it starts out as a seed and just like the seed of an embryo it starts to grow and develop until finally the child or dream is birthed and your harvest becomes a reality! This is how the process develops:-

“Dreams are made of this, seeds that I drop in your heart, water them, nurture them, feed them and they will grow into a harvest.” SJ

“When you have a big dream, small minded people will always be jealous and will criticize. Don’t be distracted by what people say and don’t waste time trying to win over your critics. The enemy fights you, not for your present but for your future and will try to get you to give up on your dream. You must be willing to press through opposition, remember the greater the pain, the closer you are to birth!” Joel Osteen

“Write the vision and make it plain so that the one who reads it may run” Hab 2:2. If you write the vision it will come to pass, you’ll make it happen! It’s not enough to think about it, you have to commit it to writing – if you write it down you will make it happen. Then confess your vision and rehearse it daily in front of the mirror, the mirror being the Word of God. Begin to read it as if it’s prophecy – begin to declare it and decree it “thou shalt decree a thing and it shall be established and light shall shine on your way” Job 22:28. You have got to rehearse your vision on a daily basis until it becomes so internalized and becomes such a part of you that you cannot separate yourself from your dream. If you will persist, confess, decree and declare there will come a day, because of the laws of faith, travail and attraction, that stuff will begin to show up in your life and you’ll start checking off every dream, every vision, every desire.” Mark Chironna


1. Conception - when God deposits His vision in our spirit.

2. Believe - this is the first trimester and is very fragile (just like when you first plant a seed you have to nurture it, watering it twice a day until it becomes stronger and more mature). In this period you will fight doubt, unbelief, double-mindedness (to keep changing your mind) and wavering (doubtingly question, indecision, divided interests, unsteady, to sway to and fro – going from faith to fear) James1:8, 4:8, Rom 4:20, Prov 4:27.

3. Envision - seeing your dream without evidence! This is the part where you have to focus on your dream and visualize it! Focus means to put blinkers on (like race horses) and place your concentration in one direction, not allowing any distraction Prov 4:25. Focus – “the point at which concentrated light, heat or sound-waves meet. When we concentrate and centre our attention and activity in one direction, light (revelation), and sound (inspiration), begin to make a clear and distinct image. Once the image is clear, visualization can now be effective, bringing the dream to realization! If you can see it you can have it! The creative power of God, He saw it first, in His imagination, then spoke it into being! Our focus must not be on what we are going through but on what we are going to”.

4. Position - who we hang out with! Make sure you stay very clear of negative, naysayers who are dream blockers! Negative and critical words, if you listen to them and receive them can make you lose focus and abort your dream very quickly!! Sometimes it’s important to keep the dream to yourself, especially in the early, fragile stages to avoid abortion!! Don’t share your dream with just anyone, wait for the right people that God will place in your path to be able to share your dream with! You will eventually need to speak your vision into being but wait until it is well and truly established in your heart first.

5. Endure - waiting!! One of the hardest trimesters as waiting and not seeing results can cause you to doubt, waver and faint (give up, cave in, lose heart or quit) Gal 6:9. This is where patience, endurance and standing firm are vital 1 Pet 5:9-10, James 4:7, Heb 6:12, James 1:3, Rom 5:3-4, 1 Pet 1:7, Rev 3:10. In Greek the word “Patience” means to be constantly consistent, the same way all the time. Consistency is the place where the power is manifested.” “The word is a seed, plant it and keep it in the ground with patience”. Creflo Dollar.

6. Enlarge - stretching and feeling very uncomfortable! Ps 4:1 This is where fear, panic intimidation and overwhelming feelings of inadequacies and insecurities will overtake you! Your dream is always much bigger than you and your abilities and this can cause you to retreat but “if you act (obedience and humbling yourself in yielding to the H.S. and allowing Him to do the work through you, not you trying to do it yourself.) on what God said fear finds if difficult to defeat you. Obedience is required to experience forward motion. See yourself as God sees you, go to the Word and meditate on what God says, cast down vain imaginations (what ifs) 2 Cor 10:5, Eph 4:23. Right believing brings right actions. Our greatest challenge is to let go and let God!” Ray McCauley. “Fear = False Evidence that Appears Real. Fear and faith are mutually exclusive and diametrically opposed and cannot exist in the same heart, mouth or mind, at the same time.” Rod Parsley. “Fear tolerated is faith contaminated. Faith works by love and fear operates by selfishness. Fear is perverted faith. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God Rom 10:17, fear comes by hearing the devil’s words which are contrary to God’s word. Faith and fear is a law which comes in through by images, words and through your mouth. The greatest fear we face is the fear that what God has said won’t work, we have no confidence in His word and also when we doubt His love for us 1 Jn 4:18, 2 Tim 1:7” Creflo Dollar. It’s very important here not to allow fear to come out of your mouth through your words, as we have seen that words are the second stage of creation – for the negative or positive. If you do slip in this area be very quick to repent so that your words will not produce a negative result! Sometimes fear will remain but we need to continue anyway “Doing it Afraid”, courage is doing something even in spite of and in the presence of fear Josh 1:9, Deut 31:6, 1 Chron 28:20, Isah 41:10.

7. Prepare - get ready for it! Action! Start taking positive action towards your dream. The second step of faith is action as “faith without works is dead” James 2:20. You need to act on what you believe and begin to move in that direction, despite negative circumstances, and unseen evidence Heb 11:1, until you see the result.
8. Labour - overwhelming feelings, great pain and travail, opposition, rejection and obstacles – you need to jump over your obstacles, the devil will try his hardest to get you to abort your dream with fear, distractions, persecution and trouble. You are to push through the pain of difficulties and remember the battle is not yours it’s the Lords 2 Chron 20:15,17. Don’t give up just before your breakthrough, as this is when it is the toughest, but persevere through the pain and obstacles and you will receive great joy! Isah 66:9, Ps 126:5.

9. Realize - Dream is finally born and becomes a reality! Take time to celebrate and honour God for you success. Remember to give God the glory and don’t forget to testify of His Goodness! Rev 12:11, Deut 8:17.


Something To Live For

You must have a hope to inspire you. You must

First of all Happy, Happy Birthday for yesterday!! I hope you have such a wonderful, refreshing, exciting time full of many delightful surprises over your birthday and during your stay in Zimbabwe!!

Just want to say thank you so much for coming to Zimbabwe and in particular to Bulawayo, where I come from (a city that usually gets left out, so it was such a joy to have you!). We have all been in such excitement and anticipation for your visit here, waiting to see with expectation what the Lord is going to do through you!! And also thank you for your amazing generosity in giving us two of your bestsellers, THANK YOU!! I know they will be such a blessing to so many people!!

What you said about Zimbabwe is so spot on, that we will do “new things”, new wine in new wine skins! Also God raising up many woman! This was also prophesied by Cindy Jacobs “The river is going to flow through Zimbabwe and I see a powerful torrent of water, a mighty rushing torrent, many fish…. An army of woman with the Deborah anointing will march across the land. They will be like a net all over Zimbabwe with prayer. With a powerful anointing the woman first and men following.”.

About 3 times when we have been praying for this conference I have seen a picture of at least 2 huge fishing nets full to capacity of fish, just like when Peter cast his nets into the deep! I truly believe that the Lord has used you as a catalyst to bring a breakthrough and a shift in the spirit realm in Zimbabwe that will result in a huge, unprecedented harvest of souls, reaching and sweeping far across this land, like a domino effect even well after you have gone! I also saw, during praise and worship at the meeting on Thursday, a large deep spans of water which appeared to have the wind of the Spirit hovering over it! There have been many prophesies over the years that God will shine His light and glory upon this land and that it will shine right across the continent of Africa, affecting many nations, bringing healing and restoration. A key scripture for Zimbabwe has been Isah 60:1-4 .. “His glory shall be seen on you and nations shall come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising…” I really believe now is that time!! Wow so exciting!!!

Also what you said that maybe God will even send evangelist from here to America and other nations! God will be raising up many ambassadors from this land to send to the nations! Because of the extreme difficulties and hardships we have faced over the years, it has prepared us in advance to help other nations that will go through difficulties and hardships, like we have never seen before, as the darkness will cover the earth but we as believers will be a bright and shining light into that darkness!

Just one last thing about Zimbabwe, a prophecy on 20th Oct 08 “Keep your eyes on Me, your hope and trust in Me. There will also be a mighty revival across the land! There will be a sweet smelling sacrifice of praise rising up to Me. Joy will explode and captivate hearts!

Nations will be changed because of this! Mighty kings will come here to see the glory of the Lord. Joy, unspeakable joy will release this land!”

Giving A Weapon

You see I have seen things in you that God wants to use!! You have the gift of giving!! You are a cheerful and generous giver and this is the kind of giver God really loves!!! 2 Cor 9:7 amplified says “Let each one give as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving]. The next verse is a very popular one and follows the principal of giving vs 8 “And God is able to make all grace (every favour and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].” Can I go on as there is more vs 10-11 “And God Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness and charity]. Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous…”. Luke 6:38 says “Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.”

You see you have already been operating in this very principal in the past but maybe because of the bad economy, recession etc you might have slowed down or been more reluctant to do it because of the uncertainty of the future? But when you can understand that God is not worried or concerned about the recession, (in fact God has always used recession or famine to extremely bless His people!! He loves to prove that nothing is impossible for Him!!) if you can see how great He is and that His resources are totally unlimited and without end, then you don’t have to worry about it, if He is your source (if your job or income is your source then yes worry!!!) He is miraculously able to supply your every need and desires no matter what the conditions are!!! After all He has streets of pure gold, walls that are made of 12 layers of precious gems and gates made of pearls. He owns the cattle on the 1000 hills, the earth is His footstool and He has pet names for each of the stars (think about this for a minute, they reckon there are over 100 billion galaxies!!!!). Jesus said that if we put Him first He will add or supply all these other things that we need as well Matt 6:33, Luke 12:31-33.

There is a movie called the “Flight of the Intruder” basically the story is about these air force pilots in the Vietnam war. Well they were sent on missions every night to go and bomb some obscure place in the south, but they never hit any targets and their efforts were futile. Well the one guy got the idea in his head that if they could venture up north, where they weren’t allowed to go, they could hit some significant targets, a main airfield and weapons site. Well he convinced his mate to do this secretly even though they knew it would cost them a court martial!!! They did this and had a huge success but of course were in big trouble!!! Anyway the purpose of this story it to show you a truth about how in the past when you operated on this principal of giving you hit a few targets and had a measure of success but God now wants to focus you and align you up for some major targets!!! If you will listen to Him and obey Him (this is the hard part, cos God often tells us to do things that make absolutely no sense to us and even seem impossible!!!) but if we will simply obey He will do amazing things!!! You see giving is a form of weaponry in God’s hands it has the power to open doors and the windows of heaven that could not otherwise be opened! It also has the power to bring miracles of healing, restoration, deliverance etc. It is who God is! He is a giver, He gave His one and only Son to mankind and it is the foundation to the way everything operates on this earth in the positive or negative Gen 8:22 says “While the earth remains, seed – time and harvest… shall not cease.” Gal 6:7 “For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.” You reap what you sow!!

What I mean about using you to target certain areas is this. It is no good to just haphazardly give to anything or anybody as you feel sorry for someone etc!! No you have to be careful that you are not misled to give into an area that will have no effect and will not produce a harvest. One example is this, the devil loves to get people to sow to their own “flesh” (or their own desires) and usually they are impatient to wait so will put it on credit, this just brings added bondage and you will only reap sorrow and corruption! Does that make sense? This is what that article was referring to as “good soil”. Just like a farmer will never sow into dead infertile soil so the same applies to us if we want to see an abundant harvest. The soil represents a person, or a church or a ministry (such as one feeding the poor or helping unwed mothers, or helping widows etc etc etc). Basically it really means doing what God tells you to do, even if it seems crazy!!! But I can give you a couple of clues, the things that are closest to God’s heart are 1/ evangelism 2/ widows 3/ orphans 4/ the Jewish people.

There are other things to understand, like naming your seed i.e. you sow for a specific reason and harvest. Example, this problem you are having with the corned beef, if you sow a specific seed to where God directs you, for this specific problem it will produce a positive result of open doors and favour. Other examples could be for healing or broken relationships etc! Harvest are not always finances, such things as health are far more precious than finances aren’t they??? My greatest harvest was my house. It is only recently I have discovered it was because of sowing into the “Family Blessing” (explained in the other article, just a quick note here, even if your parents are passed you can still ‘adopt’ a granny or grandpa by helping or supporting them!), which I knew nothing about at the time! I was there for my parents when they were both suffering with terminal diseases etc. I was literally given this house as I had a small amount in my account at the time, it wasn’t without a 2 year struggle but just know it was an incredible miracle and what’s even more exciting is that God has told me “What I have done for you before is nothing compared to what I’ll do for you!!” Wow!!

Hey whew I know this is a heck of a lot to absorb and take in, I am also still learning this and have been consistently sowing even when things have been very difficult for me (sowing in a valley, sacrificial sowing, sowing even at the expense of your own needs) and I know my harvest is just right around the corner (this is also not a financial harvest am expecting, although those are the fringe benefits!!). But wait and see, when you see the incredible thing that God is about to do in my life then you will take note of what I’ve been saying here, because I assure you it all has to do with this principal of sowing!!!!

Hey sorry one last thing, but the most important thing I nearly forgot to mention is about the tithe! As none of the above will have any results if you are not a tither!!! Mal 3:8-11 “Will a man rob or defraud God? Yet you rob and defraud Me. But you say, in what way do we rob or defraud You? [You have withheld your] tithes and offerings. You are cursed with the curse, for you are robbing Me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse (God’s house, the church), that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer (this actually means the seed eater) [insects and plagues] for your sakes and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground…” It’s important to understand here, the devourer can destroy your harvest, the tithe allows God to protect you from the “devourer”.

Not to go into too much detail as this is a huge subject but from the garden of Eden God said to man you can have everything except this one tree (His tenth or tithe) of course man disobeyed and that’s what brought the curse upon all mankind and the land!! It represents the “first fruit”, the first part of any income and is 10% of any income you earn, God expects us to give this to His house (usually the church you go to). It’s not the money God wants even though the church does need finances to run but it’s to prove that He has first place and has first priority in your life!! When you disobey this commandment you automatically, by default, bring a curse upon yourself and family!! Many people are not seeing fulfillment of all God’s promises because of this very important issue!!

The Tithe

I’ve been learning a lot lately about the importance of tithing Mal 3:10, Lev 27:30, Prov 3:9. It is such an important issue to God that when man violates it he brings a curse upon himself Mal 3:9, in fact this is the cause that brought the “fall of man” that cursed the whole human race and the ground!! Adam and Eve ate of the tithe. The one tree that was in the garden that God said they could not eat from was His tenth. You see He freely gave the whole earth and all that’s in it to man but He says that one tenth of everything is His and we are not to touch it.

Have you ever wondered why the Jewish people are God’s chosen people and why it is the land of Israel, being such a small piece of land and desert too, why is it such a strategic and hot spot of the world??? It’s because of all the people of the earth God’s tenth is the Jewish people and of all the nations of the world Israel is His tenth!! That’s why the greatest battle of mankind, Armageddon (it will take 7 months for the Israelis to bury the dead), will be fought over Israel and Jerusalem its capital (when Jesus returns He rules from Jerusalem). You see man handed over dominion of the earth to Satan when he sinned but the only place he cannot touch is Israel as it’s God’s tenth hence this huge battle to try and possess what is God’s. The Antichrist will also try and annihilate the Jewish people but God has a place prepared for them at Petra where they will be hidden, fed and protected, during the Tribulation period Rev 12:6, Isah 33:16.

That is why God said whoever blesses the Jews will be blessed but whoever curses them will be cursed Gen 12:3. Have you noticed the Jewish people are automatically blessed wherever they go? The reason why USA has been blessed and prosperous all these years is because of their support for Israel (but this will not be so for very long, the US will soon betray Israel and all hell will break loose on them because of it!!! Jer 51:24). And to be honest the reason why Zim is cursed is because we are in alliance with Israel’s enemies!!

You see the whole purpose of the tithe is “First Fruits”. It’s putting God in His rightful place, First Place, on the top of the list so to speak, and not on the bottom!!! Think about it even your quiet time with the Lord is first thing in the morning. It’s the “first fruit” of the day!!

When you are obedient and faithful with your tithe God will open His hand, the heavens, towards you but if you eat the tithe the heavens will shut! God first tests you with the little Lk 16:10 to see if you will be faithful, even when it’s hard and difficult to tithe, to put God first and above your own needs then He will entrust to you more. Unless this principal is well and truly established in the little, you will find it even more difficult to tithe when you have much!

When you are faithful and trustworthy with earthly riches, your money, possessions and treasures (this could be things like your career, gifts & talents, people) then God can trust you with the true riches which are far more valuable and precious than earthly riches. This is the heavenly currency, the anointing! God does not give the anointing to anyone only those who have been tried and tested, who are faithful, true, humble and obedient!

Prospective for 2010

Well what I'm hearing from different sources is that 2010 is going to be a great year of harvest and abundance!! God is doing a “new” thing Isa 43:19, Josh 1:1-6, a year for possessing the land and entering into our Canaan.

Heard a parallel of when children of Israel left Egypt with Moses - God made a distinct difference between His children and Egyptians Ex 8:22-23, Mal 3:18. The darkness covered the Egyptians but in Goshen there was light Ex 10:21-23, Isa 60:1 and while the darkness covers the earth the light will shine on us and just like with the plagues of Moses, none of them touched the children of God, in fact they ended up leaving Egypt with all their family (none will be lost) all their livestock and all the silver and gold!!!

Also a year of restoration, all that which was lost or stolen will be restored!! We are going to plunder the enemies camp and take back what belongs to us 1 Sam 30:8 (yeah about time hey!!!). Also another thing for Zim, someone said that the wicked will be punished. Well that ties in with a prophecy from our pastor who had just completed a 40 day fast, said on 15/02/09 "there are people that will be given life sentences and their wealth brought to nothing and their children will not be allowed in Zim, they will be in exile, in fact no-one will have them". A good example of this is Saddam Hussain who thought he was invincible and untouchable???????

The Great Wealth Transfer

Dear Pastor Rod and Joni 13/12/09

Greetings to you both. I know you haven’t heard from me in awhile but I’m still here and you are always in my thoughts and prayers especially at this time when you are facing this incredible financial crisis. I would just like to send you a word of encouragement as you have spoken so much into my own life. There is not a day that goes by where I either watch Breakthrough on TBN Africa at lunch time or listen to one of your messages on my MP3, my favorite being “Speak the Word”. You have no idea how this has impacted my life especially the section on “endurance”. You know in Zimbabwe over the last 3 years in particular we have faced some insurmountable hardships and difficulties and so many times I’ve said “no, I can’t take this anymore!” then that part on endurance would come up and bombard my mind with that phrase, which is now etched into my brain and heart, “the saved ones endure to the end” then you would speak and impart that spirit of endurance into us and once more and once again I would be able to take another step forward and continue to fight this fight of faith!! So thank you Pastor, from the bottom of my heart, and NO your voice will never be silenced!

Pastor I have noticed during these times of financial difficulties, which we all seem to be facing, in fact I have never been through such times as these before, yes in the past I have faced seasons of lack but this is totally different – it seems like there is a constant battle and fight with the enemy over our finances!! I’ve come to realize this is only because he knows what is coming to us and is desperately trying (a futile attempt) to hold back what belongs to the children of God! You see we (God’s children) are transitioning from the world system of buying and selling into God’s system of sowing and reaping (Zimbabwe is ahead of this – it is extremely difficult to sell commodities, except in the food industry) and we are being forced (those of us who will embrace it) into God’s system. Thank you Pastor for so many years now you have taught us the principals of sowing and reaping even against all odds as I’m sure you have been greatly criticized for it (as the religious world can’t stand it!) but it is the KEY to surviving this transition, as trust me, the world system is no longer going to work for us!

We have just had a week long conference with our very own Zimbabwe’s Bishop Tudor Bismark and other speakers and I have never heard or seen with my own eyes such “radical” giving! You know some preachers are afraid to ask for an offering but in one service there were 3 offerings taken – some were giving cars, laptops, cell phones, assets I’ve never seen anything like it before and was so overwhelmed and humbled by this experience as I’ve always thought of myself as a good giver but realized after this I’m still on the bottom level!! Now is the time, more than ever, for giving for we are about to enter a season of incredible multiple harvests. This is when Eph 3:20 will literally come to life. We are entering into the “Great Wealth Transfer” where we will be given “vineyards we didn’t plant and houses we didn’t build”, land, property, houses, wealth, positions of authority. A time for possessing the land (Isah 60:21, Ps 37:29) and it has absolutely nothing to do with us, our expertise, education, training, ability or skills but all to do with “Whose” we are and all to do with God’s faithfulness and goodness to those who are faithful and obedient in the sowing and reaping system and God is going to use this recession to bring this all about!

I was wondering why is this happening, why now? (Isah 43:19) when I realized it’s because we are on the verge of the “7th” day – we are about to step into the “7th” day – the Sabbath – the New Millennium – God’s rest. We have spent the last “6 days” working hard and living off the sweat of our brow but now we are about to step into God’s rest! We will no longer have to sweat so hard for so many years. God is going to give us His Kingdom freely Luke 12:32. These things we are suffering now will never be remembered again! Isah 43:18 “so wonderful shall be God’s future interpositions in your behalf that all past ones shall be forgotten in comparison - eclipsing the old” JFB commentary. Whow what a time to be alive!!!

Pastor I know none of this is new to you but I hope that somehow it will encourage and uplift you and when things seem so unbearable as we face these difficulties for a short season may I be so bold as to repeat your words back to you “THE SAVED ONES ENDURE TO THE END!”

Sowing And Reaping

I can't thank you enough for all your help, you are such a God send and I will always be grateful for you!!!! I mean that from the bottom of my heart!!! And NO, no amount is too small or an insult!!!! God does not look at the amount He looks at the heart and the sacrifice in which it is given!!! Jesus was not insulted or worried about the 5 loaves and 2 fishes (even though His need was great), because all He does is multiply it!! Heard a very interesting word on that yesterday! Jesus took what He was given and blessed it, He then broke it (took some and sowed it) and gave it to the disciples (He didn't give it direct to the people because then there would be less multiplication) the disciples then broke off some and gave it to the people, they then broke off some and gave to each other! Each time each person broke off a piece it multiplied and resulted in a huge harvest!!! I have for some years been trying to understand and practice this principal because it is the foundation to the way God operates, there are 2 systems that operate on the earth, one is the world’s system of buying and selling (one person is always at a loss, especially if you're in Zim!!) then God's system is the Kingdom of God and it's based on sowing and reaping (no-one ever loses, the giver gains a multiplied harvest and the receiver gets blessed as well 2 Cor 9:13).Often when we are looking for a breakthrough in something the first thing we need to do apart from praying is sow a seed! But you will always get the naysayer that say OH but you can't buy a miracle!! And no you can't but God waits for us to release what's in our hand before He will release what's in His (that makes sense, why should He give us anything if we refuse to give?? Think about it, it is the exact same principal with forgiving, He will not forgive us until we forgive).

The easiest way to understand all of this is through the natural and coming from farming stock we can see it! If a farmer said to you I'm not going to sow my seed but leave it in the barn, but I'm expecting a huge harvest this year you would put a straight jacket on him wouldn’t you?? As long as you have got seed, that is sown, you will always have a multiplied harvest. So even if an amount is small all that has to be done is to ask God's blessing on it, break some off and sow it and it will multiply, 30, 60, or 100 fold. Imagine a 100 fold on U$5 is U$500. You just cannot lose!! I even asked God the other day can you expect a harvest off your tithe? He said it's a seed isn't it? There is a lot more to understand about this e.g. your seed has to go into soil, the soil must be fertile (i.e. don't give into something that is not anointed or that God hasn't told you to as it will not grow Isah 55:11).

Then there is season, there are certain times of the year that are more fertile than others, this is during the 3 feasts that God called Ex 23:14-16 1/ Passover April/May. 2/ Pentecost 50 days after. 3/ Feast of Tabernacles, Day of Atonement Oct/Nov. Then it has to be watered, we water our seed by meditating on the Word and expectation James 5:7 - i.e. if you don't believe you will receive a harvest, then you won't, it's as simple as that and weeding the doubt and fear out by staying focused on the Word and being steadfast in patience. Then there is sowing in a valley (valley or famine represents difficulty Gen 26). My favourite pastor, Pastor Rod Parsley (on TBN) always says "You never sow on the mountain, you always sow in the valley" Ecc 11:4 says if you wait until favourable conditions you will never sow but if you don't sow you won't receive a harvest!

Our seed is the way God can measure our faith. Also sowing doesn't only mean finances, some of my greatest harvests have come when I've sown of myself!! Words are also seeds, we will reap what we say, for the negative or the positive (frightening thought!) also time and your talents are seeds which we can sow but will only produce a harvest if the Blessing is on it!

Hey sorry didn't mean to turn this into a sermon, but in the same token it's so important to understand this principal as the time we are going into we are going to have to operate on it! Let me explain, the world system is about to collapse, as we can see it already happening, so the system which we are so used to and have been brought up in, is no longer going to work for us!! In Zim we are a few years ahead and I can tell you in advance what's going to happen!! We are at the stage where business is very slow and it's very difficult to sell ("buying and selling") your commodities! Jobs are going to be more scarce but your job is not your source, as a child of God, God is your source!!!

There is also a lot of talk lately about the transferal of wealth from the wicked to the righteous Ecc 2:26, Prov 13:22. During these end times God will use this recession to extremely bless His people, in finances and property (it's main purpose is for the end time harvest, He wants the gospel to go out). I believe those that are faithful in giving (He gives seed to the sower, not the hoarder) will receive this blessing. There are two guys that have a special anointing for this truth on sowing and reaping Dr Nasir Siddiki "How to Prosper in Any Recession" and Dr Oral Roberts, also Isaac Pitre "God's DNA" (sounds amazing) it would be great if you could find one of these books?
